This russian word is one of the universe's greatest mysterious, including:

What happend to the unknown wonders of the worlds?

What is the true nature of god?

Why god created animals out of meat if he did not want us to feast of them?

etc. so does blyat comes along. The formal known version of this particular word is translated to simply- "whore" "slut" and other words that explain the oldest proffesion in this world. Yet, russians (and latley, Israelis as one, even without a slavic roots in blood) are using this term as a link-word, as a curse, almost anything you can imagine.



"blyat, I messed up!"

"you damn bitch, blyat!"

"I hate you, blyat, and I need something!"

In continue to the definition by Spiel Brickner, which was rather accurate, I'd like to add a couple of things.

While using the word "blyat" as a link word (regardless to its meaning) , there are no rules for where to place this word in the sentence. You may place it anywhere in the sentence as many times as possible, even after each word if you will, and it will still remain correct russian grammar.

The bets anology demonstrating it, is the hebrew word "keilu", which northern Israeli bitches use similary as a link word placing it randomly in the sentence regardless the meaning of the word itself.



(A little exaggerated example, even though you can find russian people talking this way)

Yesterday blyat I went to this party, blyat, and it was so lame blyat that even after I got drunk blyat I didn't feel like dancing blyat.

- says "blyat" before starting every sentance

- ends sentances with "nahuy"

- parents stay up in the kitchen with their friends drinking...later than youll stay up in your whole life.

- eat: kapusta,kapchonka,pe rog s makam, borsh, salad olivye, and ookrayeenskiy tort.

- guys have bad acne

- wear crosses too much if they are a rooskey

- get kicked out of the jcc

- dont go to temple anymore

- see a friend at a store like....marshalls.....t.j .maxx....or cohoes.

- never look for anything thats not on sale/ clearance

- buy 5 dollar tops and then try to get a discount because there is a mark/rip on the shirt.....

- purposly look for clothes or marks on stuff that they can fix when they come home and still get a discount for

- buy something, replace it, and use the old tag from the old thing

-l ike to go to disco-techs....even if they are 50.

- go to gayass new years celebrations at some russian restaraunt or apartment party house with an old russian guy singing balalyka.

- bad accoustic guitar music that all sounds the same.

- alla pugacheva.



вообщем в представлении иностранцев, и их же подростков в том числе, русские (славяне) в большей массе - необразованное быдло

даже, мы с вами, современные подростки, в их представлении,ну, практически все, через второго, - мелкие "братки" с цепями, в кепках, которые жрут капусту, пьют водку, играют на балалайке, трахаются, простите, каким-то животным диковинным способом, девки ходят с косой и в шубах, и похожи на матрешек...

вот отсюда и мысли приходят...а далеко ли действительно наше население ушло от этого образа?

быдло есть - есть, водку пьем - еще как! в кЭпках молодежь лыткаринская ходит - а то! трахаются как звери, ну да, извращенцы везде есть...а уж про баб с косами, размалеванных и в шубах я лучше вообще промолчу!))

хотя наеврное всему можно найти опрадательные аргументы...

те же иностранцы забывают отчего у нас шубы стали носить еще при Царе-горохе, и страсть женщин к украшательству пошла еще с добавлением на русскую территорию Татаро-Монгольского Ига...

кароче особо обвинять иностранцев не за что...понятно, что для каждой нации свойственны свои ярлыки относительно других стран, но обидно, все-таки, что русские Там ассоциируются, в основном, с хамством, ограниченностью, дешевизной и алкоголизмом...







з.ы. буду только рада, если, среди вас живущие там, расскажут мне, что наши с вами британские ровесники знают (если и знают) про русских хорошего\плохого, кроме водки и медведей!
